FIX Offerings Spur NYSE Technologies' Nyfix Purchase

NYSE Technologies entered into a definitive agreement to purchase Nyfix in an all-cash deal for approximately $144 million. Although the NYSE Euronext, NYSE Technologies and Nyfix boards have approved the deal, Nyfix shareholders still have to give it the go-ahead. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year, according to exchange officials.
