Microsoft Fills Financial Services Group Vacancies

REDMOND, Wash.—Microsoft has filled two top posts for its five-year-old Financial Services Group (FSG) in an effort to move it from start-up mode to "a more mature business model," according to a company spokesperson.

The FSG was established as part of Microsoft's strategy to vertically align its sales and services organizations around a few key industries, a spokesperson says. The FSG focuses on the capital markets-securities, banking and insurance segments of the financial services sector.
