Reuters Trader Front End Readied for Beta Tests

LONDON--At press time, Reuters officials said the vendor is rolling out its Reuters Trader data product to user firms for beta testing ahead of a second quarter launch.
Tested internally by Reuters for the past month, Reuters Trader is a mid-tier, data display desktop intended as an upgrade for traders and sales staff using Reuters 2000 and 3000-series products that do not require a full move to 3000 Xtra. The aim is to prevent these users moving to another vendor instead, officials say. The 2000
