Liquidnet Pushes Into Canada with Penson
VENDOR UPDATE
LONDON—The recently launched Liquidnet Canada will be using the clearing and settlement services of Penson Worldwide to execute the U.S. equity trades of Canadian clients, officials announced last week.
A registered broker-dealer headquartered in New York City, Liquidnet clears and settles all trades matched via its block trading service on behalf of its buy-side clients. Liquidnet launched its Canadian extension on July 29, and subsequently named Penson as the clearing provider for Canada. In
