TT FIXes New Development Path

CHICAGO—Direct market access (DMA) vendor Trading Technologies International (TT) has a new gateway that turns the tables on the way exchange connectivity has traditionally been developed.
TT has embraced the Financial Information Exchange (FIX) protocol and is pitching the new gateway as an expansion of connectivity options between TT’s X_Trader platform and the exchanges. The gateway is built using Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP, client/server architecture, and commoditized Intel-based hardware.
