Reuters' Mixed Results Point to Growth

LONDON--Reuters’ 2004 preliminary fiscal results saw group operating profits, including Instinet, jump 52 percent to £198 million ($360 million), pointing the way toward growth in 2005.
However, Reuters is still suffering from a lack of growth in recurring revenues, and saw group revenues fall 11 percent to £2.885 billion ($5.251 billion).
