Reuters Fast Forwards London Cuts
VENDOR UPDATE
LONDON--Sources tell TTW that Reuters made a number of its London-based staff redundant just over a week ago, as part of the vendor’s continuing cost-cutting campaign. Sources place the cuts at between 20 and 55 staffers in consulting, account management, sales and accounting.
A Reuters spokesperson confirms that some cuts did take place in London, but declines to give specific numbers, or from which areas the cuts came, citing the Reuters’ Q1 financial announcement this week. However, the
