MetaBit Connects Brokers to Xilix
VENDOR UPDATE
TOKYO--Japan-based financial software vendor MetaBit has connected three brokerages to Xilix, its FIX-enabled, broker-independent trading platform, and expects to connect an additional 10 firms in a year, says Daniel Burgin, CEO of the Tokyo-based vendor.
Xilix is already connected to UBS Securities in Japan along with two unnamed Japanese brokers, says Burgin. The product is designed to connect institutional buy-side clients--in particular hedge funds and asset managers--with sell-side brokers
