CME Claims No DJIA Issues
At press time, Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) operator CME Group announced that its systems functioned correctly despite the 998.5-point intraday swing suffered by the Dow Jones Industiral (DJIA) index on May 6. The volatility prompted cancellation of transactions by Nasdaq and NYSE Arca in conjunction with all other exchanges with unlisted trading privileges (UTPs).
