TXC Completes Global Co-Lo Strategy

The new co-location facility enables trading access to ECNs during Asia trading hours, and is housed in the same datacenter as Icap's EBS Spot Asian matching engine, according to officials.

The facility was tested for 30 days ahead of going live. TXC, which was founded in 2009, already co-locates within the Chicago datacenter that hosts the Chicago Mercantile Exchange's (CME's) Globex matching platform, as well as within datacenters in Secaucus, N.J., and Slough, U.K., which contain EBS' North
