The biggest stumbling block in adopting cloud computing is trust, a rare commodity in the markets these days. Firms need to analyze their business processes and determine which functions and applications could be released on the either their privately maintained cloud or a public cloud. The rules for the former should be easier to generate since it would all occur behind the corporate firewall.
