BX Berne Exchange Runs with Aixecute
The BX Berne Exchange has gone live with its new stock exchange platform, Aixecute.
The platform, developed by Germany-based MACD for the SIX Swiss Exchange, can handle any asset class and is scalable for demand. It was developed over 15 months by MACD specifically for the BX Berne Exchange, and handles all standard interfaces and functionality, including FIX connectivity, a matching engine, links to market data vendors and other areas.
"The new platform is highly efficient and extensively compatible with the main trading clients: Switching costs for new exchange participants are reduced to a minimum," says Luca Schenk, CEO at BX Berne Exchange. "Thanks to the good cooperation with George Macdonald, his team and the fixed-price policy of MACD, we were able to manage a straightforward migration."
The trading of shares, bonds, funds and derivatives has now migrated to the new software, as well as the exchange's OTC-X platform.
