Sun, Fujistu Launch Enterprise Server Line

The severs, which will be jointly marketed by Sun Microsystems, Fujitsu and Fujitsu Siemens, are based on the Sparc64 architecture and run the open-source Solaris 10 operating system from Sun Microsystems. The server offerings can support between two and 64 sockets for dual-core dual-threaded Sparc64 VI processors with room for between 16 GB and 2 TB of memory.
