ABN Amro Cuts 500 IT, Risk Jobs

AMSTERDAM—Dutch banking group ABN Amro is cutting 500 more jobs from its IT and risk divisions, according to bank officials. The banking group announced the news last week during its Q3 results.
"We believe there is a significant opportunity to improve productivity and cost efficiency, while continuing to ensure an effective control framework at all times," according to the Q3 statement.
