FPL Targets Q4 Release for Latency Protocol
The new standard, which will eventually be called FIX Inter-Party Latency (FIPL) protocol will let different latency monitoring applications at different locations exchange precisely timed messages and provide objective latency measurements between parties, according to Henry Young, co-chair of the FIX Inter-Party Latency working group at the FPL.
