Orc to Support New Eurex Platform

Stockholm
Stockholm-based Orc will support Eurex's new trading platform, scheduled for early December roll out.

Orc, the Stockholm-based provider of trading and market-access technology, has announced that it will support the transition to Eurex Exchange's new trading platform later this year, providing its clients with enhanced performance, new order types, and more efficient processing and reporting functions.

The new architecture, scheduled for launch on December 3, will also ensure that Orc's clients comply with the European Commission's requirement that over-the-counter derivatives are cleared through a central counterparty.

"Eurex Exchange's new platform is a significant upgrade for Orc customers, so it is a priority for us to guide them in this transition, which is clearly advancing state-of-the-art trading technology," says Jesper Alfredsson, vice president of product management at Orc.
