Maitland Taps Milestone as South Africa Tightens Reporting Requirements
pControl, short for "production control", will enable the administrator to report net-asset values (NAVs) on a continuous basis.
Maitland is using pControl, which will be fully live by the end of the second quarter this year, alongside SunGard's Asset Arena to attribute asset exposures and report on compliance down to the member level.
Dale Lippstreu, senior executive of Maitland's fund services, says the firm's investment in the technology is a direct response to changed local regulations.
