OData, a web-based protocol proposed originally by Microsoft, will improve the integration between Torstone's Inferno post-trade software service and other enterprise systems, says Brian Collings, CEO of Torstone.

"Historically, many enterprise software solutions have ended up as data silos, hampering integration and acting as a barrier to the efficient and dynamic reuse of valuable business data within organisations," he says. "Inferno bucks this trend by providing open access to its internal data model via the OData interface."
