Low-latency technology provider DataFluidics has launched a new data processing platform, dubbed Reflex, which allows firms to combine and analyze multiple datafeeds and send orders to more than one trading destination at once, based on customizable scheduling and processing rules.

The software, which officials say can react within 1.6 microseconds, is intended to offer a low-latency alternative to hardware-acceleration technologies such as FPGAs, and can be licensed as a standalone product or embedded into clients' trading systems.
