SS&C Technologies Joins IPC's Extranet
Connexus, which uses a scalable, multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) platform to support financial industry standards such as FIX, is increasingly being used by technology vendors and execution venues, in addition to traditional buy- and sell-side institutions, for hosted connectivity.
"With Connexus we are giving clients access to all our services over one dedicated connection," says Bob Moitoso, senior vice president and general manager at SS&C. "Our customers demand quick, seamless, and efficient access to markets and IPC's extranet allows us to meet those demands."
The move should also help support SS&C's recent growth, including the significant acquisitions of both GlobeOp and Thomson Reuters' Portia in 2012.
