Aquis Exchange Begins Trading European Stocks
The London-based multilateral trading facility, which received regulatory approval at the beginning of November, proposes an alternative pricing model based on the message traffic generated rather than a percentage of the trade value.
Starting in the middle of January 2014, Aquis will charge £2,000 ($3,200) per month for trading firms to submit up to 25,000 trade messages per day, and £10,000 ($16,200) per month for unlimited messages (subject to a fair usage policy), which reduce marginal costs
