Lucera Introduces Dedicated FX Platform
LumeFX will take advantage of Lucera's on-demand compute capacity and software defined network (SDN) architecture, and will be designed to solve unique problems in spot FX like "last look" trading, phantom liquidity, and other challenges related to historical FX microstructure.
“LumeFX gives us more control over our FX spot trading, helps us to better understand the best liquidity provider for a trade, and to better manage our orders with measurable efficiency and accuracy. LumeFX and Lucera manage all the infrastructure and networking, so we can focus on optimizing our order flow,” says James Reilly, senior managing director and global head of FX sales and trading at Cantor Fitzgerald Securities, with whom Lucera's infrastructure was originally developed.
