CME’s Duffy addresses outages as exchanges push toward 24/7 trading

These are the dates of three major outages recently experienced by CME Group. The disruptions are becoming a problem.

CME Clearing recorded eight hours and 31 minutes of outages in the last quarter of 2025—the longest downtime in a three-month period for the central counterparty since Q1 2017.
