SunGard Debuts Brass Successor
The new trading platform, which has been beta-tested by a few early adopters, will replace SunGard's venerable Brass trading platform, which it acquired in 1999 from Automated Securities Clearance (ASC) (Trading Technology Week, Feb. 22, 1999), and the GL Stream OMS, which it gained from its 2008 acquisition of GL Trade (DWT, Aug. 4, 2008).
