NEO Exchange to Use Solarflare Networking Infrastructure

Solarflare's time stamping software will also be used on NEO Exchange.

Toronto-based NEO Exchange will use Solarflare technology.

Aequitas NEO Exchange, the Toronto-based exchange that plans to go live March 27, has announced it will use Solarflare's 10 gigabit Ethernet networking software and hardware.

NEO Exchange will also use Solarflare's time stamping and SolarCapture Pro software for better network performance and visibility of exchange activity.

"Because we are building a new exchange from the ground up, we have the distinct advantage of being able to utilize some of the most advanced technologies out there," said Karl Ottywill, chief operating officer of Aequitas NEO Exchange, in a statement. "We have full confidence in (Solarflare's) software and hardware technologies as we ramp up to the launch our trading platform in March."
