Bond Connect Tries Europe

State Street (www.statestreet.com) and OM Group (www.omgroup.com) are taking Bond Connect (www.bondconnect.com) on the road. Bond Connect Europe will be launched for US-denominated fixed income securities at the beginning of 2000. Euro-denominated securities will be offered in the second quarter. The European fixed income electronic execution system will operate in a call auction environment, says Andrew Howieson, senior vice president and managing director of State Street Information
