Edmund Hor entered the energy markets by way of an accidental encounter through a computer store. Now Trayport’s founder is looking to expand his company’s horizons.
Edmund Hor calls himself the "accidental managing director." After a stint as an FX trader ("I was no good," he admits), Hor, then 27, set up Trayport, his one-man technology consultancy. Soon after, when he left his name at a computer store for freelance programming work, Spectron, the energy broker, asked him to write some macros
