Last December, John Robertshaw starred as Bob Cratchit in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, set in Cheapside, the area in London where he started his career at the Bank of England's ICL IT division in 1973. Now 55, and a principal at buy-side consultancy Investit, Robertshaw performs in one stage production and several short sketches every year with his local amateur dramatics group in Ashwell, Hertfordshire. He especially enjoys performing in Christmas pantomimes and says he often gets cast
