Waters Rankings 2014: Best Buy-Side OMS Provider — Eze Software Group
In July, Eze launched a new cloud-based information hub dubbed Data Services that supports position and transaction interfaces across its product suite.
“With this product, we’ve reinvented the technology foundation for our existing Managed Service offering,” says Rob Keller, executive managing director of product management and development at Eze Software Group. “It’s the first component to leverage the new framework and is a key milestone in our long-term strategy to iteratively move core components of our product suite to the cloud.”
Part of Eze’s buy-side appeal is its integration with its other solutions. Recent highlights include an enhanced application programming interface (API) between its Tradar PMS and Eze OMS, compliance integration between Eze OMS and RealTick EMS, and the ability to embed RealTick EMS widgets within Eze OMS views.
Additionally, as asset managers look to expand into new asset classes and offer their end-clients more investment products, Eze has added improvements for bank debt trading, fixed-income analytics and standardized CDS workflows. In terms of regulatory reporting, the vendor has added support for AIFMD filings through its Regulatory Filings Manager component. Keller says that Eze OMS’ scale and flexibility are what separates the platform from its competitors in a keenly contested market.
“This flexibility allows us to quickly respond to client needs and avoid costly software upgrades or development work,” he says. “In the past year, we’ve invested significantly in tightening the integration and APIs across our product suite, enabling us to uniquely offer clients a truly streamlined workflow for the front, middle, and
back office on a single platform.”
Keller adds that Eze OMS is seeing strong growth in Brazil, Singapore, Mainland China, Hong Kong and Australia.
