The Global Association of Risk Professionals named James Lam of Fidelity Investments and Christine Cumming of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as joint winners of its first Financial Risk Manager of the Year Award. At press time, Lam and Cumming were scheduled to be honored at a reception held earlier this week, jointly sponsored by GARP and Waters Information Services, the publisher of Investment Management Technology.
