Reuters, Union Remain In Deadlock Over Severance Pay, Other Issues

Reuters Holdings PLC and unionized employees were expected to remain in stalemate Friday following the latest round of negotiations of a labor contract. Unionized employees, including editorial, technical, sales support, customer service staff and clerical staff, had earlier voted to authorize the Newspaper Guild of New York to call a strike against the company.
