Judge Clears The Way for CBB's System, But Cantor May Prevail As War Proceeds

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE--Although the way is now clear for the launch of an electronic US Treasury futures trading system from the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) and Prebon Yamane USA, the war is not over yet.
A US judge recently denied Cantor Fitzgerald's motion for a preliminary injunction against the Chicago Board Brokerage (CBB) and its electronic trading system, Marketpower. However, the judge also found that Cantor is "likely to succeed" in its lawsuit, which is scheduled for a hearing January
