As D&IS goes to press, an announcement of the sale of Knight-Ridder Financial to Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe was expected imminently. Sources say that a deal was agreed to ten days ago and that the contracts were in the hands of lawyers. Barring any unforeseen hitches, the agreement should be made public this week, they say.
