Although this year is the first occasion that SunGard has won the best automated trading platform category, the Wayne, Pa.-based firm is no stranger to the SST Awards winners' circle: it won two categories in the 2013 and 2014 SST Awards, including the prestigious award for best sell-side technology provider at the inaugural awards in 2013.

The Valdi suite supports low-touch trading for global and multi-asset trading desks across a range of asset classes, including equities, derivatives
