AIG Global Investors--one expected beta test site of Thomson Financial Services' Portable Portia system--has yet to receive the software. Sources say AIG recently installed Sybase Inc.'s relational database management system. However, the RDBMS took up more disk space than AIG expected, so the firm is now looking to expand its capacity. A Thomson spokesperson says AIG will take delivery of Portable Portia for testing as soon as the installation of additional disk space is complete.
