Tradinglinx:Buy Side To Dictate Debate On Interoperability


NEW YORK--The two major T+1 utility sponsors--the Global Straight Through Processing Association and Omgeo--have recently started discussing interoperability. Just how or to what degree they will work together remains open for debate.

Gordon Henderson, CEO of Tradinglinx, a concentrator working with the GSTPA and a potential competitor of both initiatives, believes that the debate will be answered by the buy side. "The buy side will be dictating where the trades get matched," he says.
