The Chicago Stock Exchange is planning to launch a fully electronic stock exchange, to be called the United States Stock Exchange, in the second half of the year. The U.S. Stock Exchange will not have a trading floor, but will operate using an electronic securities communication and execution system which broker/dealers will access via computer system interfaces. The exchange will use a competing dealer system rather than assigning only one specialist to a particular stock. The U.S. Stock
