Fidelity Investments unveiled its new referral strategies tool, dubbed Referral-Edge. The web-based research tool allows independent advisors to identify potential referral opportunities.
Referral-Edge aggregates information on a daily basis from more than 3,000 US sources and has a database of more than 2.5 million high-net-worth individuals, 1.5 million retirement plans and about 150,000 foundations and endowments. It is in pilot at more than 200 advisory firms, according to Fidelity.
