Pimco and LiveCluster Win Risk Awards

NEW YORK--Pacific Investment Management Co. (Pimco) has been named Asset Manager of the Year by Risk magazine, a fellow Risk Waters Group publication. Risk has also named DataSynapse’s LiveCluster software Product of the Year award.

Pimco, the Newport Beach, Calif.-based fixed-income asset manager, received the award for its methodology and technology and for consistently beating its benchmarks. Risk attributes Pimco’s success to a complex risk analysis that allows it to sift thousands of risk
