Bitfinex Joins Market Synergy’s Crypto Connectivity Infrastructure

The network will provide the crypto exchange with access to institutional clients and co-location services.

Until now, Bitfinex has run its trading platform on Amazon Web Services’ cloud. But by migrating its trading platform to dedicated infrastructure running in Market Synergy’s datacenter in Zug, Switzerland, the crypto exchange expects to improve technical performance, minimize latency issues, and mitigate outages. Bitfinex CTO Paolo Ardoino says the deal is a natural progression to enable the company to manage the growing transaction volumes on its exchange and prevent the risk of downtime.
