Scudder, DST Collaborate On Firm's P'folio System

Scudder Stevens & Clark Inc. is working with DST Belvedere to build a portfolio accounting system to meet Scudder's specifications. The firm's goal in the project is to consolidate all of its portfolio management functions onto a single platform. Scudder currently uses both an internally developed mainframe-based system and Thomson Financial Software's PC-based Portia. The New York City-based investment manager and mutual fund company maintains $100 billion in assets under management.
