Bloomberg Equities System To Route Buy-Side Orders

Bloomberg Financial Markets is developing a utility that would allow institutions to send small equity orders from their Bloomberg terminals to the New York Stock Exchange SuperDOT order-routing system. The planned utility would allow institutions to route orders through the broker of their choice, and would throw Bloomberg into direct competition with several brokers that already operate proprietary SuperDOT links.
