LONDON – Providing customer relationship management (CRM) software to alternative asset managers is proving a lucrative business for London-based software firm Whitaker Garnier. Founded by Andrew Whitaker and Sophie Garnier in 1998, the firm started out providing generic CRM offerings to the financial services industry, but since the arrival of co-chief executives, Trevor Read and Daniel Simpson – both ex-Beauchamp Financial – in summer 2003, the firm has focused exclusively on the alternative
