Attention, investment firms. If you ever wanted to see voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) tested in tough environments, The Securities Industry Association (SIA) has a pilot program for you. As reported in sibling publication Dealing with Technology, the SIA is bringing investment firms and network services providers together to test the capabilities of VoIP communication for trading firms.
So far, about 10 member firms are taking part in the pilot program, according to Art Trager, vice
