Wall Street Nails BCP Test

An industry-wide, Wall Street business continuity planning (BCP) test on Oct. 14, Saturday, "achieved a 95 percent overall success rate," according to the industry organizations sponsoring the event, which simulates an emergency that could halt trading. The 250-plus securities firms, exchanges, markets, service bureaus and industry utilities that took part in the test reported that they did not encounter significant complications, say officials of the Securities
