HKEx Migrates to MDF, Preps Closing Auction
Improvements to the Market Data Feed have been driven by a new project for electronic disclosure of news information. The HKEx Electronic Disclosure Project was launched in June to allow for straight-through publication of issuer news and documents on HKEx Web sites. News and regulatory announcements gathered via the EDP service will soon become the primary distribution service for issuers, who will no longer be required to publish announcements in local newspapers as of December 24, 2007.
