Olsen Opens FX Tick Database
The vendor traditionally allowed clients to make one-off, piecemeal purchases of data covering particular time periods for specific instruments or currency pairs, but has recently begun offering a premium subscription service that allows its top-tier clients to access Olsen's database via a virtual private network (VPN) connection, in order to back-test existing trading strategies or mine data to identify trends and develop new strategies.
According to Olsen Financial Technologies chief executive
Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
