2006 Marks End of Telerate Products


At the end of this month, Reuters will cease supporting the Telerate range of products it acquired in 2004, closing the door on a 35-year legacy.

In its recent history, Telerate, which was founded in 1969, managed to survive the bankruptcy filing of troubled then-parent Bridge Information Systems, and was sold to Moneyline in a liquidation auction (IMD, Aug. 31, 2001). The Telerate brand even prevailed over that of its new parent when Moneyline Telerate rebranded, opting to drop the Moneyline
