Eurex Outlines Latency Reduction Strategy

German derivatives exchange Eurex is aiming to cut latency across its datafeeds to less than 10 milliseconds within two years by a combination of proximity hosting services and the introduction of new data delivery technologies later this year that are expected to incorporate the bandwidth-reducing FAST (FIX Adapted for Streaming data) protocol.
