LSE, Borsa Italiana Detail New Structure
A public announcement of the new structure is expected on Monday Dec. 10, although the exchange has yet to finalize a few remaining details. Once this process is complete, the new structure is expected to be effective early in 2008, an LSE spokesperson says.
Although the LSE and Borsa Italiana will each continue to function as distinct operating companies, the combined group will be overseen by a new group structure, which will carry out all strategic roles such as planning and budgeting, and
